The AOA statement is a collective expression of the osteopathic medical profession. The osteopathic profession has always been at the forefront to embrace diversity and give priority to every human life irrespective of an individual’s racial affiliation. The association hopes that following the recent events, the relevant authorities shall implement the necessary social reforms that will preserve the life and dignity of every individual.
AOA is committed to seeing all races and ethnicities unite together to support diversity and called for peaceful protests. AOA together with other nationwide and state osteopathic organizations expressed the commitment of the osteopathic community to collectively work together to promote peace and reconciliation.
